Ratings
It’s long past time that I actually started rating the anime/manga/what-have-you that I review, because, to paraphrase The Cranberries, everybody else is doing it, so why can’t I? Plus I’ve actually had requests for ratings, and hey, I aim to please my fellow otakus. I’m slowly going back through my full reviews and adding ratings (first impressions won’t get them, because it’s not really fair to judge a series by one episode) but here’s the basic system I’ve decided to put into effect:
★★★★★ (5 stars) Completely awesome. Buy this immediately!
★★★★ (4 stars) Very good. Definitely watch, perhaps buy when it’s on sale.
★★★ (3 stars) Worth a viewing, probably not one to buy.
★★ (2 stars) Watch only if it’s your kind of genre.
★ (1 star) Avoid this one. Nothing good can come of it.
Occasionally I might throw in this baby, my version of a half star, just to keep things interesting: ✰
Please keep in mind that everything on this blog, from ratings to reviews, is all my personal opinion, nothing more. If you disagree, please let me know, as I (mostly) love other (polite/educated) opinions! And if you agree with me, definitely let me know. Otaku solidarity ftw!
